Day 4 photos

Photos seem to be in reverse order from end of day to beginning and I don't have time to fix it...

Alright... back to catching up on updates and exercising my memory...
There's lots to catch up on and it's 11 pm and I've already brewed up all the shitty motel coffee and drank my luxurious beer (beer itself being the luxury - I'm still buying cheap beer). Day 4 was a big one - biggest yet and probably the hardest on my feet. I woke up at dawn looking down on the clouds at sunrise and passed Eden while he filled his bottles up with nice clear water from a fire water tank near camp - I had some leftover water and knew enough about my bodies morning routine to know that my second fibre lacking shit of the morning was going to hit about 5 miles down the trail - right near a perfectly good 'guzzler' water source (my tadpole tea came from a guzzler too...). Well, you're right if you're thinking I should have taken the good water when I had the chance - It was missing the tadpoles this time but was equally appealing (check the green algae water photo...). Well, atleast the ground was soft for digging my cathole...
I should mention - don't be fooled by my 'poor me life is hard there's not enough toilets and bottled water' tone in some these blog posts... as most of you probably know I'll have a happy grin and plenty of fun no matter where this hike takes me, and the truth is that I don't even know what hardship is and i've been lucky enough to have never experienced it in my life. This is all my idea of fun recreation and I just fill you in on the dirt because it makes for a less boring read.
Alright, the rest of the day: 26 miles after starting my day I was sleeping on the side of a dirt road in the desert. The descent off the mountain was hot and long and I think where my current foot poblems started... Luckily 'hikertown' was waiting before a long road walk through the desert. I hung out with nice group of people in the shade and headed off into the desert under, surprisingly, rain drops. I had about the best conditions I could hope for that 14mi.
